Sunday, June 27 in San Piero in Campo inaugurate the Granite Exhibition and the Painting Exhibition “ Oltre le terre del granito…colori e relax” of Marilena Badaracchi.
Sunday, June 27, at 19.00, in conjunction with the first food and wine festival of San Piero in Campo, there are also two interesting exhibitions dedicated to this side of the Elban territory.
Both the Granite Exhibition and the Marilena Badaracchi Painting Exhibition, "Beyond the lands of granite... colors and relaxation", in fact they will be open to visitors with free admission at the headquarters of coop F.Corridoni, and set up in the rooms on the ground floor.
On the one hand there will be an exhibition of granite artifacts, produced by Corridoni, which extracts and processes the particular and precious "granite of Elba", and which has been active since 1937. Corridoni's products are in fact known in most of northern Italy (e.g. Bologna in recent years has used a lot of material from here for the construction of sidewalks and road pavements).
Today the market is mainly local and the material is mainly used for the recovery of historic centers that were once paved with granite slabs.
The painting exhibition by Marilena Badaracchi instead presents a series of paintings whose inspiration originates from the natural places of this Elban side, with particular attention to the choice of colors, in a pictorial style that intends to transfer well-being and relaxation in the people they observe."
